Buried Echoes

 atmos bloom is a dream-gaze band formed in Manchester by Curtis Paterson & Tilda Gratton. atmos bloom's first EP called atmos bloom was released on September 30th, 2020 by themselves.  Truly an independent artist. This ep has 4 beautiful dreampop/shoegaze songs.  The first one is called "just another day", which to me, is a very powerful song.  Here's my reasoning. When you are depressed and anxious most of your life, you tend to look at and hear things differently. I personally try to find the good in every situation now, because most of my situations in the past have been the complete opposite.  When I first heard this song, I couldn't believe what I was feeling through the song. Tears went wild and deep. It was as if, atmos bloom knew exactly what we go through internally and it gave off this warmth comforting vibration knowing that I wasn't alone. Music is very powerful.   Vacations new album "No Place Like Home" was released on January 12th 2024 on No Fun Records.  You may have heard their initial song "Next Exit" on Tik Tok and YouTube Short videos, according to my son.  It's popular with the young ones and their social media.  Awesome! When the album was released, it hit me like a ton of bricks and I will try my best to explain how and why per song post.  I walled myself out of society and haven't vented since I left my ex-wife in 2011.  So much music has been listened to and felt since that day 13 years ago. The song "No Place Like Home" track #5 on the album is going to be a tough one to talk about, so let's do it! When I find a song that hits every emotion of what I went through with leaving my 1-year-old son in 2011, I usually click repeat and absorb and feel every aspect of the song.  I feel this song was made for me to finally hear and let go of all the guilt through these years of divorce.  Wanting a ...
